The genre of my music magazine is RnB and it is aimed at teenagers and young adults aged 17 - 25. I am really happy with my final product because they all look similar by using the same colour scheme. However, I think I should've kept the fonts consistent throughout the whole of my magazine to make it more professional.

Double Page Spread Mock Ups
This is my first mock up of my double page spread for my music magazine. I started off with placing my image on just the right hand side of the page. I kept the colour scheme the same as my contents page and my front cover by using the colours pink, grey, black and white. I then added the headliners name which is 'Hope' I made this in a big font so that it stands out on the page. I also made it in the colour pink so that it bright and it shows a positive vibe to my magazine. Next I added my text to my double page spread. I decided I was going to and question and answer interview. I made the questions in a black colour and the answers in pink so that it contrasts on the page. I then added my page number and the name of my magazine to my double page spread. However, I don't like this double page spread because there is alot of blank spaces, and the background colour makes it hard for my readers to see the text.

Double Page Spread Questions and Answer
This is an inclusive interview with Hope Lescott! At the age of 18 she is already becoming the next RnB queen! Her new single 'Champion' has been at number 1 for two weeks in the UK and it reached number 3 in America! Hope takes a break from the studio to talk about how she became famous and her love for RnB.
I entered a competition and I got to sing in my local town. I didn't win the competition but I got recognised by a record company. They invited me down to London studios to record and they just fell in love with my voice so they signed me to a record deal!
It has only been a year and I still can't get used to the fans shouting my name every time I leave the house. My life has changed so much. I've always wanted to produce music since I was young and now I am finally living the dream.
All my friends and family are really supportive! They always come and support me when I'm touring or doing little gigs. Sometimes it can get a bit difficult, especially when I'm out with my family and the fans come up to me asking for signatures.
I listen to a lot of genre of music but RnB and Rap is my favourite of course! The only genres of music I don't like is rock and opera!
Yes, I am currently rehearsing for a tour with Nicki Minaj! I am so excited as she has been my idol since day one and she has always been my inspiration.
My music will always have a positive vibe. It is very modern and it is up to date with the latest trends. It's also very addictive. It will make you want to listen to it over and over again.
Well i'm busy all the time! But if I do have a bit of spare time I like to go out with my friends and family. But of course I am still only 18 so I always try and study in my spare time.
What has been your most memorable moment?
I think me touring with Rihanna was my most memorable moment because it was my first tour and I got to meet so many artists such as Chris Brown, J.Cole and JayZ.
I would like to win 'Best Female International' because I don't just want to be known in Europe, I would want to be known worldwide. However, any award would mean the world to me because it will show how far and successful I have become, so I am so excited for my future!
I would say to always follow your dreams and don't let anyone tell you that you cant do something. Make sure you go into the career that you will enjoy and not regret.
How did you get discovered?
How much has your life changed since being noticed within the music industry?
Are you friends and family supportive?
What kind of music do you listen to?
Have you got any upcoming tours?
What makes your music unique to other artists?
What else do you do besides singing?
What has been your most memorable moment?
I think me touring with Rihanna was my most memorable moment because it was my first tour and I got to meet so many artists such as Chris Brown, J.Cole and JayZ.
Is there any information about your new album and is there a release date?
I have currently stopped recording for my album because I am concentrating on the tour with Nicki Minaj. But as soon as I finished the tour I will back in the studio to record my new album and hopefully it will be out in the summer 2015.
If you could win any award, which one would it be and why?
Is there any advice you would give to young people now?
Final Front cover
This is my final front cover for my music magazine. I have used the main features on my front cover such as the image, masthead, banner, headline and cover lines. My magazine is called 'Resonance' because it suits my genre of music which is RnB. I made this text in a large font because it is the first thing the readers will see. I've decided to go with the colour scheme of white, black and pink as they are easy to read against the image and these colour contrast. I have used a range of font sizes because it creates more emphasis. I have used a banner at the bottom of page to show what is included in my magazine. I have also used coverlines to show what artists are included within my magazine.

Double page spread analysis
This is a double page spread from a music magazine. The artists name is in bold writing and it the colour is bright pink. The colour of the text is more of a bolder pink that it contrasts with the background colour. The layout of this double page spread is different because the main image is in the middle of the page and there is text all around the picture. This image of Nicki Minaj shows that she has direct eye contact with the camera. The image shows that Nicki Minaj is a fierce women and that she is not challenging the typical stereotype for a female rap artist. Her bright pink lipstick matches the colour scheme of the double page spread because the majority of it is pink. The use of having a pink background suggests that the artist is going to be feminine. The title 'Nicki Minaj' is in a different shade of pink so that it contrasts with the background. The questions that are asked on this page are in bold writing so it is clear on the page. The main text is also in the colour black but it is in a smaller font size. The use of text within this double page spread highlights the important things about Nicki Minaj.
